Akarim Agencies Co. Ltd was established in June 1992. It was approved by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in March 1994 as qualified travel institution due to its professional standards.

The company became a member of the Kenya Association of Travel Agents ( KATA) in March 1996. It extended its services to the coastal region of Kenya in the Tourist town of Malindi in 1995. 

The Malindi office became IATA accredited location in 1996, also with full facility of online reservation automated ticketing etc. The office was later transfererd to Mombasa. Both offices with their dedicated, well trained staff work hand-in-hand to satisfy the needs of our clients.
